After she looked at my eyes she explained to me how they were healing and and what I needed to do. So I wouldn’t have this problem again. She was very polite and professional.

Dr. Mathie was thorough and knowledgeable. She was patient while I explained my problem. I had seen my primary provider twice without any resolution. I saw Dr. Mathie on a Wednesday afternoon and my eyes were almost completely healed by Saturday morning. I would definitely recommend CEI.

I was seeing Dr. Mathie at the Virginia Eye Center, but when I called to schedule an appointment with her, I found she had left their practice. I was impressed with her thoroughness, her ability to explain things on my level, her kindness, her interest in providing care for my issue, her down to earth posture, and her innovative approach. If anyone knows where she is now practicing, please post it here. I truly wish I could find her. She is a gem!
