Dr. Bruce George, OD

I called as a new patient to schedule a routing eye exam. I was not asked a single question as to whether I wore contacts or had any issues. The appointment person I spoke with talked so fast that I had to ask her to repeat a couple bits of info, she seemed quite perturbed. I informed her that I needed an early morning or late in the day appointment since I work. She informed me that the Dr. George ONLY saw patients with my insurance in the morning, and that I would still not be a first patient in the que when trying to book the first appointment. Apparently, this Optometrist takes extreme issue with patients who are considered Seniors and-or also those who have Medi-Cal. I informed her that I would take my business elsewhere, and I did, happily, to an optometrist who was professional and courteous! No one deserves to be treated in this manner and I recommend NO ONE use this business.

I saw him for the 1st time yesterday for my yearly eye exam...he was very affable, friendly and genuinely interested in what my interests and hobbies were (told him I loved cartoons and did artwork) Fitted me with contact and told me to try them for a week then contact him if I wish to purchase one year's supply (for $120 YES!!!!)
