Alexander White is an exceptional psychologist whom I have had the privilege of knowing both personally and professionally. I have trusted him with my own children for assessments, and his professionalism, knowledge, and ethical approach have always impressed me.His expertise and dedication to his work are evident in every interaction. He is thorough, compassionate, and takes the time to truly understand his patients' needs. His ability to create a comfortable and supportive environment makes a world of difference, especially for children and families navigating challenging situations.I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking a highly skilled and trustworthy psychologist. His commitment to his clients and his field is unmatched, and he has made a significant positive impact on those who have worked with him, myself included.

Great experience! My 21 year old was evaluated, she hates testing. Mr. White was patient with her and thorough with me regarding the process. I would definitely recommend for services.

It was an in office visit about a family member who needed a Psychological evaluation and if they were displaying behaviors common to certain mental disorders. Most of which Alex could see, hear and tell based upon the evaluation. Then in doing further research about what my family member has, it was accurate.

Mr. White is an egotistical human with a god complex. I have never in my life met someone who is supposed to be caring for others who has such little regard for others peace of mind. I pray no other patient has to experience the blatant disrespect and unprofessionalism that this man presented at my office. Take your examination referrals elsewhere.

We never had an actual appointment with Mr. White because, after my first call, it was clear any additional efforts would be impacted by his biases. If you feel that's not a suitable enough experience for a negative rating, please feel free to skip ahead to people that actually took the risk of walking into his office for professional care. I called to get an idea of his schedule for a possible assessment while we're waiting for our PCP referral. We spoke for 15-20 minutes and at first I thought he was showing genuine interest in the situation. After a while I felt he was more interested in uncovering my 'flaws' as a parent than understanding our situation, jumping to conclusions about our intent, experience, and concerns. I attempted to remain amenable, answer questions in good faith, and exit the call while he shared a variety of opinions that easily disqualified him from service for our family. Here's a few "insights" felt were worth sharing: - if you don't catch autism by 5 years old, it's not autism (within the first 3 minutes of our call) - he "hates autism awareness" - written rules solve behavior problems - I (the potential client attempting to answer questions) talk too much and I should try listening - he (Mr. White) talks so much because he wants to make sure people aren't mad when they don't get the diagnosis they 'want' (i.e. autism) - the behaviors we are dealing with are clearly a choice since they don't display outside the home, so the problem is how things are ran at home - An autism diagnosis shouldn't change anything about how we approach parenting - I should consider filing a FINS petition (Family in Need of Services) in juvenile court for a short term residency stay, because "good kids only need to go through that once." Remember, he's never spoken to the actual patient and disqualified autism on age alone within the first few minutes of the call (never-mind that teen and adult autism diagnosis happen on a daily basis). He did say he would be glad to complete the assessment if we felt it necessary, but if this review has made sense to you, it's likely clear we won't be pursuing further assistance. On the plus side, he answered his own phone directly and had availability fairly soon by any comparison to other local service providers; but, perhaps this level of availability while other service providers are booking 9-18 months out should be carefully considered.

Dr.White goes the extra mile for his clients! We were having a difficult time getting my childs Evaluation approved with our current health provider, he assisted us tremendously in making sure all of the proper documentation was submitted, and give us the correct contact information to get everything approved for our visit to his clinc. When we arrived to our visit he did a phenomenal job with my Autistic child, he was very patient, kind and observavent, we will definitely be referring others to his clinc.

Mr White was very professional with myself and with my brother. He was available at any time to help me when I was struggling and same with my little brother as well.

Mr. White is professional and very knowledgeable. He is easy to set up an appointments with. He is available when I need him or my kids need him. He always explains everything to me. He did this with my kids too. He listens to me and gives me great feedback. My kids and I have been with him for many years. I would recommend him to anyone. He has helped both of my kids.

When calling to make an appointment for my child he was very rude and very homophobic

Do yourself a favor, check the DSM5, if your condition is anyway related to neuropsychological, or neurological related, do not go to this person. When someone is not knowledgeable about a condition, the person is not able to make proper recommendations concerning care plan or make good recommendations for modifications for environments or other factors, not even for an educational setting due to lack of knowledge of subject matter. Also, if you don't agree with what he said, he snapped.

Physically assaulted me in front of my son despite the fact I was clearly leaving of my own free will. Pushed, pulled, and dragged me through the building he is working out of. And this was after trying to fabricate childhood trauma where there is none in my past, vilifying my mother. Police couldn't do anything about the assault without evidence, and unfortunately the building had no cameras. Filed a detailed complaint with the Arkansas Psychology Board, and it was dismissed to my surprise. He claimed I was arguing with him when I was only asking questions for clarification. He claimed he's never misdiagnosed anyone (impossible to know), as if he could do know wrong. He has outdated beliefs on certain mental health conditions, and even talked negatively about another psychologist who gave me one of my diagnoses.

Mr. White is very professional and was amazing with explaining to myself and my child everything we needed to know about my sons diagnosis. He has this special way of getting on a child’s level and helping them understand that what they are feeling is normal and it’s nothing to be ashamed about. In everything we talked about or activity we did, there were no surprises. My son understands his diagnosis and has been coping with it very well. Mr. white is amazing at what he does and I would highly recommend him!!!

I would absolutely refer him to my family and friends. We had a great appointment with Alex. He was very thorough and answered all of our questions. I was very happy to get the diagnosis the day of our appointment. He provided us with resources for the future which we have already used. It was an overall great experience.

Very helpful, understood what everyone was going through, and was down to earth. Made us felt very comfortable and was insightful.

Our granddaughter was recently evaluated by Mr White. His communication and mannerisms with her were pleasant and professional. He has a genuine concern for people. She is usually introverted but she felt very comfortable with him and she cooperated well. He was very thorough with the testing. We received a full report with suggested methods for helping her. We were very pleased to know what to do to help her become the best and most productive person she can be. Thank you for working with her!
