Candace Margulies, LCSW

I was a client of Candace Margulies while she was still practicing in Minneapolis. We had some interpersonal conflicts, and rather than trying to help me figure out my part, she let it devolve into an adversarial relationship. She laid it all at my feet and was unable to manage her countertransference. With me, she displayed a lack of self-insight that ultimately prevented any therapeutic benefit I should have been able to expect. The responsibility for a helpful therapeutic relationship isn't solely the job of the client. I moved on to a different provider within a few months and had a very satisfying experience.
