Love Carin
I think Carin is sharp, on top of things, and I always feel heard when I visit her. I’m someone who wants to help myself first… not start with meds… and she always gives me options but supports my me in my decisions to take care of my health.

I’m not sure why everybody’s saying all these awful things about Carin. I have had her as my PCP for years and have never had an issue with her. Sometimes she is a little difficult to get into, but she can usually work it out if you. Really need to get in and see her. She is very knowledgeable. She spends enough time with you discussing things making sure that you understand everything. I find her pleasant to be around. She is very straightforward no sugarcoating, which is what I really like. She will let you know her professional opinion, and if you have a problem with it, yeah just talk to her about it. She will listen to you and provide feedback. I believe she is an incredible physician and I am planning on keeping her as long as she is in network. Also saw her nursing staff is fabulous! Very professional very on top of things.

Unprofessional, rude, condescending, makes diagnosis by the appearance of the patient rather than listening to the patients concerns. She was very dismissive of my symptoms due to her preconceived notion of why she "thought" I had the symptoms. Most of the questions I had about test results were completely ignored unless I scheduled another appointment, at which point she would tell me the same thing she had the time before and the time before that. My health quickly went downhill under her care. I had issues with a medication she prescribed and she refused to address that. I fully believe that medication created new and basically debilitating health issues. When I tried to bring that to her attention it was completely ignored. I did seek care from a different provider, a doctor. My health significantly improved in a very short time. My symptoms were actually treated and my quality of life has significantly improved under the care of my new provider, a doctor. Bejarno's nurses at the Grimes clinic are just as unprofessional, uncaring, dismissive and as full of preconceived notions as Bejarno herself. The worst healthcare I've received in my life was from Bejarno and her nurse(s).

I just went for 4 days from last Thursday moring with horrible pain in my eye. Was told it was scratched and I was to take some drops. I ask her if anything was in my eye, she said no. I spent the entire weekend unable to do anything and my eye got worse. I call them on Monday and the sent me to a Eye doctor. Problem fixed in 10 minutes. I had two eye lashes growing into my eye causing the abrasion, plucked them and no pain. I wish she would have spent more than 5 minutes with me.

Completely unprofessional and dismissive of patient concerns. Patronizing and rude; worst experience I’ve ever had with a “practitioner.”

I have a difficult medical history for only being 38 y/o and also have previous medical training. I don't go to the doctor unless it is necessary and need confirmation. Carin routinely argued with me and dismissed symptoms as normal. I went in with intestinal issues and she dismissed them and recommended Metamucil, turns out after new dr and a specialist appts, I had a major problem. Every appointment seemed like a pissing match between her and I. My health suffered due to this.

Carin is excellent at listening to me and also checking out different ways to approach a diagnosis and treatment. She's very thorough & good at translating technical medical terms in a way that makes sense (and she frequently check to make sure I understand what she means). Highly recommended.
