My normal doctor had no available appointment, so it was suggested that I see Carissa Gonell. First time seeing her and was very pleased. She listened to my concerns and seems very knowledgeable. Would have no hesitation seeing her again.

I have been a patient of Dr Gonell for over 10 years. She is a sweetheart, very knowledgeable, you can sit and talk to her, she makes you feel very comfortable ,you don't feel rushed, she listen to all your needs and concerns and provide the best care possible. I'm sure there are other wonderful midwives out there, but Dr Gonell is the best I love her.

I love this practice. I had both my children with midwives from Starling. While Karen and Kira are no longer with the practice, having moved out of state, I have continued to see Carissa for my annual check-ups and any other needs. She is knowledgeable, calming and truly cares about patient health and well-being. I highly recommend her.

Carissa is amazing! She was my midwife for my second child and I’m sticking with her now that I’m pregnant with my third. I’ve seen another OB in the past and the care doesn’t compare. Carissa always takes her time and answers any questions or concerns I have. Never dismissive. Actually recommended her to my sister when she became pregnant as well!

Carissa was amazing, I came in for a check up regarding some concerns and she answered all my questions thoroughly and honestly. She is so kind and is truly compassionate about her profession. First time meeting her and I felt like I knew her forever. Great care and person. She is amazing! Would highly recommend.
