Carla Hausrath, NP

I really like Carla, she is nice and knowledgeable - However, her staff, particularly the "acting manager" told me I was lying about asking for a rescuer inhaler 3 times for nearly 2 weeks. Not sure why I would lie about needing an inhaler, she even got nasty and hung up on me. The wrong med was called in, the receptionist (she's great) called me and tried to straighten it out. The "acting manager" told me the receptionist "doesn't do meds". Well apparently no one there does - I'm still trying to get an inhaler. If I end up in the ER with an asthma attack and no inhaler, I will be sending the bill to their office.

I have been going to this practice for about 5 years, I have always felt welcome and important! Carla is amazing and kind! She listens to all the little things and figures out any and all concerns medically I have! Best of all is her time management, I have never waited more then 10 minutes for an appointment, to me that alone is huge! As a patient I feel heard and always walk away with an answer

She's been my primary for 7 years, and I think she's great. So calm, kind, understanding, non-judgemental. Doesn't over-treat, but doesn't make you feel like you're bothering her with little things. Also, understanding of insurance issues and stretegizes ways to minimize patient out of pocket costs without sacrificing care. I've worked in critical care for 12 years and have always preferred NPs for primary care and women's health. S. Hausrath is also great, but no qualms about NP care vs MD care.

This entire practice is one of the best in the area!
