Dismissive and Uninformed
My family's appointment with Carmen Addington was a complete disappointment. After receiving a referral from an oncologist who explicitly outlined the next steps for diagnostic testing, Carmen dismissed my wife’s symptoms as “just birth control” related, which was not even close to accurate. The only solution she presented was to stop taking birth control and to take expensive tests completely unrelated to my wife's presenting symptoms. Not only was she dismissive, but she also became defensive when we expressed concerns and began interrupting us as we talked. There were multiple times during the appointment when Carmen had to leave the room to ask another physician how to proceed, which made it clear she was out of her depth. If you’re looking for competent care, don’t waste your time here.
