Dr. Carol Bongo, PSY.D

Dr Bongo, is very helpful, and very accurate in evaluation on me ,witch i did not even realize myself. I would suggest people to go to her. Thanks Dr Bongo

I had a psych eval for my gastric surgery! I’ll admit I was so anxious because of the therapy I’d been through before! Dr. Bongo made it super easy to relax and ask questions when I needed to. I have already talked to multiple people and recommended her!

My mom left Dr. Bongo's office and immediately called me in tears. She reported the doctor was rude and abrupt in her approach, pushing my mother for details about her childhood traumas and making judgement statements rather than listening for my mom's opinion on her life events. My mother is familiar with mental health treatment and I myself am a therapist; it sounds like Dr. Bongo does not know how or chooses to not treat every client/patient from an ethical and compassionate stance. She belittled my mother and chastised her for forgetting her glasses in the car and for answering a question incorrectly--this is not how you should treat any human, let alone someone who has multiple medical concerns that cause her to be forgetful and confused at time. I'm really disappointed to hear about this incident and we will be looking for further treatment elsewhere. According to my mother's experience, this is not a safe space to be emotionally vulnerable.

Rude and very unhelpful

Dr. Bongo has helped me to sift through the things in myself which had been blocking me. Her approach is gentle and yet she encourages and motivates personal growth. I am so grateful I found her! My life has progressively changed for the better and I am now living as a free and happy human today. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Bongo to friends and family who are suffering.

I absolutely love her approach. Each session we accomplish something and we get down to the nitty gritty. She's compassionate and really pays attention to how you're feeling. She will go at your pace. She's just absolutely incredible and I would suggest anyone to go see her.
