Discriminates against young people who are sexually active, people of low income, people of color, and fat people. Definitely fat shames. Told me that “food is not for fun. If you want to do something fun find something else to do.” Prevented me from getting the IUD. After getting a second opinion the IUD saved my life. She should be fired and stripped of her license to practice.

Saw Carolyn for serious complications which frankly required more treatment than she was "comfortable" with giving me even at bare minimum. She talked to me as if I knew nothing about my condition & told me I "didn't have hormone issues" since I didn't describe the complications to her liking & was told in a condescending tone to see a psychiatrist for my symptoms (got a blood test immediately after that confirmed my hormones were off). She refused to give me hormonal treatment due to my weight even though I had already been cleared to take it at a higher weight, never had complications & can't even lose weight untreated, which I explained but she wouldn't hear it. The worst was her suggesting my boyfriend was either lying about his history or cheating on me because I was honest about my not using protection with him & because we're long distance. I've heard she has made similar comments to others over similar matters. Never went back after visit #3. Avoid seeing her if you can help it

I am a nurse. I was just refused to be seen by Carolyn Lipsky NP for a scheduled appointment. I was in the office, in the appointment room. The NP knows that I am a nurse. At the doorway before entering, she asked me if I had taken care of any COVID patients. I have, I did not lie. I was told that my appointment was over and I had to leave. I am not symptomatic of COVID. I have worn appropriate PPE every second of patient contact. This is a direct delay of care. There is a large population of healthcare workers that have, are, or are going to take care of a patient positive for COVID. Do they not deserve to be cared for as well?

Carolyn is the best gynecologist I've ever had. Shes a great listener and takes her time during appointments. I'm going to be extremely upset when she retires, I'm praying she gets to be my ob for all my future children

Carolyn is a great listener and she is very thorough. I have been seeing her for over 20 years and I will be devastated when she retires!
