When we first met Dr. Casey me and my husband were lost. We felt hurt and misunderstood by people we considered family. Not only was Dr. Casey able to explain the different family dynamics we were facing, but she was also able to assist us in setting healthy boundaries with our loved ones. Dr. Casey heard our concerns, validated our feelings, and she helped us see things for what they were. I would deeply recommend Dr. Casey to anyone who is facing family situations. Her knowledge and her work is woven in professionalism, care and understanding.

She listens. Like REALLY listens. I can't say it enough how important that is and remembering things that I've talked about in the past. You don't get that very often anymore. No one really pays attention because everyone so distracted. It's refreshing.

I felt that Casey immediately understood what I was going through. I felt comfortable in her office. I felt I had her undivided attention the entire session. Didn't feel rushed. I was impressed how she remembered certain details from my previous session. She gave me great coping skills and an assignment to do till my next visit. Her advice was very helpful. I definitely would recommend Casey.

I saw Casey at her private office and I can't speak more highly of her. She works with families and although my family refused to attend she helped me better cope with our problems

Please do not consult Casey. After telling her I was raped, she responded with "Well maybe he likes you?" No further questions. She clearly did not take me seriously. She made me feel even worse than when I came in. I also had a very hard time communicating with her. What was uncommunicated but well understood were these walls or boundaries she set up between us. She added little about her life, personal experience, background, etc. For most of our sessions, she just seemed oddly indifferent and disinterested. She'd waste my time by taking lengthy notes and providing little to no feedback, unless prompted. While taking notes, there'd be these long, awkward periods of silence in which I'd expect some "Sage Counseling," however, she'd say and do nothing, expecting me to come to my own conclusions. Many sessions were just too impersonal. She came across as cold, and lacked interest in my life. Casey is aloof. Detached. Unconcerned. Please seek counseling elsewhere.
