Spinal manipulation are proficient to help posture. I have muscular issues and she was less effective. Bottom line is she wants to get you into "maintenance" to keep you coming back which is good for her, but no guarantees of future improvement, so time to find somebody else that may have new/different ideas. The nickle and dime billing which you find out when you leave the office for the day and find your payments are higher than expected is frustrating. I understand nickle and dime billing for insurance billing purposes to maximize insurance reimbursements, but she is not on my insurance and she is treating me like an insurance company except I can't write down what I pay her at the end of a visit. I've typically experienced fixed rate for cash pay. When I tried to discuss it, it was pay or don't come in, so I cancelled my 12 months of visits they lined me up for. Shows what is valuable to Dr. Dowd, and it is not patient care. If you are good with that, she may be helpful.

I was a patient of Dr. Dowd when she was at Renuva in Omaha. I found her to be an excellent practitioner because of her desire to educate her patients. She uses real life examples that anyone can relate to to explain why we often sabotage our own bodies and then how to correct our mistakes. Dr. Dowd is personable, professional, easily approachable, and knowledgeable. I would recommend anyone with back pain to seek out her service. I miss her at the Omaha office.

My chiropractor of many years retired and I did not like his replacement. I saw the add for Renuva in the paper and went for the trial run. From the very beginning Dr. Dowd has been professional and supportive, making sure things were going as planned for my treatment. I can't praise her and her staff enough for the relief I've gotten with the treatments.

After enrolling in the Renuva Program with Dr. Dowd in Omaha, I completed the intensive therapy and am participating in the maintenance program. The treatments, equipment, exercises, strategies, and coaching have given me the pain relief I was seeking. Dr. Dowd is knowledgeable and professional. I appreciate the individual counseling she gives me to cope with my specific health issues. I give Dr. Dowd credit for teaching me what to do when I experience pain and how to prevent it.

Dr. Dowd and her staff are OUTSTANDING!!! Very professional, kind and caring. I went in with sciatic nerve pain 6 weeks ago, and Dr. Dowd did what she does BEST! She explained that she could help me and she DID! Along the treatment path she took time to explain her treatments and offered advise on how to go about everyday tasks to alleviate pain and discomfort. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Dowd, she is friendly, knowledgeable and VERY GOOD at what she does!!!

Dr. Dowd's lack of compassion and care towards her patients is extremely evident. She lets her emotions guide her care depending on the day she's having. She is also extremely unprofessional and tends to have a God-complex. I was not pleased with the care I received and would not recommend her to my friends or family.
