Stay away healthcare they should not allow her to practice in South Carolina. The most rude, unprofessional PA I have ever seen in my life. Do not waste your money nor your insurance on her all she will do it refer you to a whole bunch of other doctors never doing her job.

I have seen Catherine Poston several times and I find her to be patient, caring, a pleasure to talk with. I feel very lucky to have found her . The entire office staff is friendly, easy going and I never feel rushed.

August, 2021.. My wife & I have been seeing Catherine Poston every 6 months for over 3 years. Everything was fine until my latest blood test showed my potassium level at 5.4 (range is 3.5 - 5.1). Had a 2nd test, it was 5.9. Catherine ordered a liquid med & another blood test. I was afraid to take any meds or another blood test before I talked to her. Before my follow up visit I checked the internet for info on potassium levels & the causes for being high. At my follow up visit, Catherine was VERY upset I had not followed her directions & why I had tried to find out about the meds. She said I was questioning her medical degrees. She ordered me to have another test that day. Result was 4.27. In Feb 2021 it was 4.9. I have since received a letter from her informing me I am no longer her patient. She never explained why the levels varied so much only they were now normal & to come back in Feb 2022. I strongly advise anyone to be very careful of This PA-C & Carolina Health.

I find her excellent. She is thorough, and always follows up. If I need prescriptions she always makes sure she orders them. It is a busy practice so scheduling an appointment can be sometimes difficult. But you would expect that with a good provider.

I have been seeing Catherine Rowell for three years now. I moved here from the northeast and was concerned about starting with a new office. I don't understand the negative comments. Catherine has always been kind, caring and professional. I am very happy with her as my caregiver. I can not speak for others or their experiences, but I highly recommend her to my friends.

I have completely stopped going to Carolina Health Specialists because of Catherine. It seems like I am always stuck seeing her instead of my PCP and she is just awful. I honestly feel that I get more personalized care at the CVS Minute Clinic.

We had a terrible experience last time we went there. Nurses and other staff do not know what they are doing. They run procedures they have no business performing. Even if those procedures hurt the patient. They are rude and inexperienced. It is all about themselves, they do not care to help the patient. It is very unfortunate that healthcare providers can be so uncaring.

My doctor is never available to see me, so I end up having to see Catherine who has no bedside manner and is very hard to talk to. She seems like she can’t be bothered. I wish I could find another local group.

I,m new to the area and called to get a referral near my home. Carolina Health Specialist was the service given. They put me in with Catherine Rowell, PA-C. I'm very happy they did. She was very straight forward and did a lot of question answering for me. She told me she was sending me all over for different test, and the lab work was done right there. The doctors I have seen have been just as nice and have all confirmed with here about my situation. It made me feel like they all ready me

This is my second visit with PA Catherine Rowell. She is very professional and very knowledgeable in her field. She takes the time with you and I find her to be very caring in your health. Awful experience. I haven't seen my actual physician at Carolina Health Specialists in 3 years because he never has any availability. So I get stuck with seeing Catherine, who is cold, uncaring and has no bedside manner. Then most impersonal doctor's office I've ever experienced, you're better off going to urgent care. I will not be going back to CHS.

If you want someone to blindly write prescriptions and miss easy to diagnose ailments, look no further! I loved the ease at which she would give me the drugs I needed. I called her due to withdrawls from meds, her nurses don't pass on messages by the way, and she told me that I "sounded fine to her." She can apparently diagnose over the phone!

The Physicians Assistant, Catherine Rowell administered a drug test without first telling me what she was looking for. Then based on bogus results I was taken off the only medication that worked for me. In doing so, this assistant took me off a controlled substance I had been on 12+ years. This gave me withdrawals and I had cardiac related issues. If you must go here, see a Dr - not a less educated assistant.
