Excellent Care Provider
Cathy and the entire team are thorough and care about their patients. Been a patient for years and have referred both friends and family to Cathy. Cathy is very attentive during our appointments and makes sure to have the team follow up as needed.

Obviously something is wrong
I saw Ms. Lipsy for a few years. At first, she was very respectful, acted caring, and listened to me. I had a situation that resulted in medications being off & certain levels being way off. It was my fault completely. However, when I went to her after an ER visit, she obviously didn't read the ER report, or thought she had more knowledge than the ER doctor. For my blood sugar to return to normal, I needed to get another condition under control. She gave me a prescription for 1/4 the dose of meds for that condition that she had given me before I went to the ER. Then she acted confused about why my blood sugar was not getting better. When I mentioned to her that the other medication needed to be increased, she gave me an attitude & included the "I am the professional" speech. She did not realize I have a medical background as well &sg she was very unprofessional about the whole thing, to the point that someone who heard our exchange, later apologized for the way she acted.

Horrible. Don’t waste your time like she did mine. She was inattentive, refused eye contact, and dismissive. I walked out of the apportionment when it became clear she wasn’t listening. I came because of a head injury. She refused to treat it because it was a workers comp claim. I explained my work only provided urgent care doctors and had a neouroulisf app set up. Due to my condition I felt I needed care sooner than the neuro apt. She refused. I then talked about other health concerns and she continued to write me off not making eye contact, giving snip comments, and refusing to listen to my concerns. I walked out before she finished the exam as I was not going to waste anymore of my time.

Cathy and her nurse treat you the way all clinics should treat people. She listened to me, and totally took everything I said seriously. She consulted other doctors as needed for my specific issues, and even caught some issues I was having that no one else had caught. Her nurse was fast setting up referrals for me, making sure it was convenient for me, and making sure the places she sent me was best for my insurance. I have never experienced such high quality care.

Didn't take the time to listen or explore any options other than her own opinion given to me as soon as she walked in the door. Her arrogance and misdiagnosis led to hospitalization with life threatening consequences because I was told it was nothing but anxiety.

Ms. Lipsey listened intently to my symptoms and the steps I had already taken to try to get better. What I have found recently is that Nurse Practitioners often spend more time listening and working out the best course of action to promote healing. Ms. Lipsey did all that.

I was a "walk-in" with a self-diagnosed case of "gout" in my right foot/ankle. I have had it before and am aware of the condition and diagnosis. sometimes I travel to the VAMC in downtown Memphis, but for convenience, this time I came to our local clinic. I was tested and examined and treated with the normal medicine for gout. A day or two later I received a call from the clinic to check on my status and we also discussed the prescription that had been given to me. I appreciated the follow up.
