Charles Hunter, PA-C

Charles Hunter is a caring individual that takes time to understand the patient's needs and concerns. He asks lots of questions to understand the full issue at hand. He has been my provider for about 6 years now and I would not change. I feel comfortable with explaining any and all of circumstances that arise to bring me to his services. I have full confidence in his abilities.

Charles Hunter is not a Doctor let’s be clear about that although the staff and office addresses him as one. He’s a physician assistant- huge difference. He has been incompetent with my mothers care, unable and very slow to refer her to a cardiologist and to prescribe antibiotics as suggested from workup results. What was deemed as a medical emergency was mishandled and neglected. The office is also poorly managed. You can’t reach or speak with him directly instead his non caring and rude nurse - Frankie Clarke, with her unprofessional attitude intercepts and is the buffer. You must be your own patient advocate and stay on top of their work. When a medical emergency came up with my mother the staff initially said she could wait to be seen in 2 weeks for her follow up appointment. Anyone reading this good luck and always remember if unhappy and your care has been mishandled-speak up and talk with your local congressman and news outlets. You are deserving of quality care.

They never answer the phone you leave a message you don't get a return call. I haven't gotten my referrals yet for a cardiologist or pulmonologist and it's been over a year. Rushed visits, I'm very displeased.

He seems to be unaware of the many things basic! He can't seem to even refill prescriptions in a timely manner. They set unnecessary appointments to pad the charges. I will be finding my father a new Doctor by the end of the week, I wouldn't allow him to treat my pet!
