Dr. Porch was extremely thorough and took extra time allowing me to try out my contacts over a week to be sure they were exactly right. Because of my astigmatism and my need for multifocal lenses, he also he allowed me to try both over two separate weeks and provided a prescription for each. After each week he again tested my eyes to make sure things were correct. I've been wearing contacts for almost 40 years and have never had this much attention to detail by an examiner. He is excellent!

When I tried on my new $220 prescription in the office, of course everything looked fine. When I got home and put on my new glasses, I couldn't see my work station properly. The prescription was too strong. We agreed I on 18 distance.. I told him I didn't need to see 2 miles away, and he make a quick comment as if I didn't know my own eyes. Going back today to have this situation rectified. But I feel I've wasted my time. And I'm angry that I have to go back in to get what I paid for.
