Chase has offered me a lot of really useful tools for managing my anxiety and has helped me feel more comfortable setting boundaries with others. As a result of working with him, I have begun feeling more hopeful about my diagnosis and more in control of my emotions. Something in particular that I've really appreciated is the care he takes in making sure he understands what I'm saying.

Chase Girvin has been a great person to speak to and has made an impact on how I see stress, feelings I’m experiencing and how I interpret them. He listens and engages you in the conversation. Never feeling judged or not heard. I definitely recommend Chase.

I’ve had sessions with Chase since the beginning of the pandemic and he has been extremely professional, and such a great listener. He guided with coping techniques through my anxiety and unresolved trauma. He provided me with tools that I could use in between sessions, which were extremely helpful. While I still have anxiety, my symptoms are far and few in between, and I thank Chase (and myself!) for the positive outcome.

Chase did not assist my coping nor development in any way. He was mostly silent in a 6+ months period of therapy, left me talk most of the time while staring at me, was not straightforward/honest; I communicated repeatedly my needs and expectation from him, but his reply was always that there is nothing to add and that he is straightforward/honest. I have OCD, emotional, relationship problems and I inquired often about how we’d work on them; he said "that’s what we'd have to figure out.” He also can’t control his facial expressions or agitation in sessions; he sometimes looked at me angrily/with disgust when I spoke about issues. After winter break, he asked about my vacation, to which I said it was good; I asked the same question out of decency to which he said loudly “IT WAS FINE;” I thought he was communicating that it’s not OK to ask about him but my question was not personal nor invading. I saw him once in front of the organisation and said hi, he frowned, said hi, and walked away
