Dr. Smithback is the BEST doctor I've ever had! Her care, empathy, knowledge, relatability and enthusiasm is unmatched. She really takes the time to listen to her patients and never makes you feel rushed or silly for going into detail or asking questions. You can tell from the first meeting you have with her that she truly has such a passion for helping others and cares so deeply about her patients. Dr. Smithback listened intently to my medical history, never made me feel silly for stating my concerns (which so many other doctors have), and came up with a treatment plan tailored just for me. She has worked with me to adjust my treatment plan multiple times, and has never doubted what I'm telling her my body is experiencing. She has always made me feel like I have an ally, which I've learned is SO important to have in your doctor. Dr. Smithback is the absolute best and I will forever be grateful to her for how much she has helped me over the past year. Cannot recommend her enough!!

By Dr.Smithback going the extra mile to understand my preexisting condition she was able to get to the root cause and help heal my body. I recently had the pleasure of having Dr. Chelsea Smithback as my doctor for a PRP (platelet-rich plasma) procedure. From the moment I walked into Nature and Science Medicine I felt so welcomed, their front desk are wonderful and made scheduling a breeze. Dr. Smithback is extremely competent and knowledgeable about the procedure, and she took the time to thoroughly explain the process to me and answered all of my questions. She made sure I was comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process, and I felt very confident in her. Even the blood draw Sera did, was effortlessly easy. Dr. Smithback thoroughly assessed my injury, made the procedure seamless, and gave me additional treatments for my injury to increase my recovery and healing. I had torn my ACL and had surgery and we did PRP for recovery and my knee felt so much better after. I was able to be back skiing so much earlier! I would highly recommend Dr. Smithback to anyone in need of a PRP procedure.

Dr. Smithback is gentle, attentive, and professional. I got sick with mononucleosis early in college but didn't know it, and went to urgent care time and time again. They tested me for all of the common viruses, at one point told me I might have an allergic reaction, and said that they really did not know what I had. I had no energy, had the hardest time waking up, had dizziness, temperature changes, brain fog… I kept searching for answers but no place could tell me with certainty that I had mono since most people test positive for antibodies.
