Refused treatment to 7 year old little girl
I had my appointment set, with a reference for January 9, 2025. This appointment was set in August of 2024. December the 17 I receive a letter in the mail saying she will not see my daughter because she isn’t 14. She was going for occupational therapy for low vision because she is Albino and has nystagmus. No doctor at the LOW VISION CENTER will see her for LOW VISION THERAPY. I even offered to pay cash. Broke down in tears begging her for any help. She told me to see an optometrist….what a joke. Who do you think referred me? Also, who refuses treatment 3 weeks before the appointment that we’ve waited for since school started? They want to be drs to scam insurance but don’t want to help people. What a shame.
