Dr. Christian Lemmon, PHD

Everything these people say is absolutely right. He is mean and it can be hard, but he is excellent at his job if you really want to heal. He is most definitely not going to tell you want to hear. You will confront all your shame, all your insecurities, all your fears and it will be hell but you will most definitely not be the same small, broken person you felt like before if you just trust in the process. He was the first catalyst to my freedom when healing from bulimia and I have only been spiraling up since then. I write this to say if you really want to get better and are ready to be done with your suffering, I would absolutely recommend Dr. Lemmon.

I was told this was an eating disorder program. The doctor I met with is in charge of the program. I had an assessment and he explained a treatment contract which was intimidating. I did not meet any other multidisciplinary team members listed on the website and he shrugged his shoulders when I asked. Dietician? Ugh? Group? Hmm? I don’t think they have these or I might not qualify? Since I cannot find anyone on the list I think the program is just the person I met. He’s nice but it’s not a program. Call it what it is. A person. Not a program

What happened to therapists being nonjudgemental? This was an embarrassing and shaming experience. I do not have words to describe how terrible the entire process was. It seems this is normal. I guess the patient advocate will copy and paste the standard response I read before posting. I wish I had read these before going to this place. It would be nice if something changed

We made the appointment with expectations of an experienced provider. However, it was clear that this person does not keep up with anything past 2000. We expected more out of a teaching hospital. The wait was long, the visit was rushed.

I was patient during the initial appointment when the provider was very late. He did not apologize or provide any reason for being late. I expected that he would still see us for the full session as that is what my insurance was billed for; however, the session ended abruptly as he said he had a patient waiting. I gave the benefit of the doubt and scheduled for the following week. He was late again. The desk apologized but he did not. The entire appointment was rushed and he did more talking and did not let us finish a sentence.

I was referred by my doctor and looked forward to getting help. I waited for more than 20 minutes to be called back and then felt rushed so the appointment could end on time. I left feeling worse about myself after hearing things like "why is that really important to you" and "why would you do that"

I was shocked to hear the offensive remarks this person made. He told me he would help me not “be fat” which made me feel more afraid of this as if he already thinks it’s the worse thing imaginable. Ran late, rushed and interrupted

He saved my life, I am very grateful for him.

I could not finish a sentence without him talking over me. He seemed very entitled. It was frustrating to feel like I was being talked over and even had my thoughts debated.

Interrupted alot. Appointment was cut short because he was late. I asked why the appointments before my daughters ran over but he cut us off to catch back up on time. He gave the impression that the other appointments were more important so he had to run over with them.
