Christina Fondren, LCSW

I was a patient in Christina Fondren's care while enrolled in the Partial Hospitalization Program at Ascension Seaton Shoal Creek. Partway through the program I attempted to commit suicide at home. I thankfully survived, and managed to drag myself to the hospital to explain what happened and seek help. Christina Fondren failed to take me seriously despite me clearly explaining I had attempted to commit suicide, that I was still heavily under the influence of a dangerous overdose of ambien, and that I was scared I would try again. She falsely documented that I "contracted to safety of self and others for 24 hours" and that I "voluntarily withdrew" from the program before turning me away for showing up late, due to trying to take my own life. Within hours I attempted to commit suicide again. Ever since then I've had great difficulty trusting mental health professionals, creating a catastrophic setback in solving the issues I was in her care for in the first place.
