Pushes her patient’s to maximize past average and demonstrates energy conservation techniques breaking tasks down so I could complete them rather than give up. Showed me numerous compensatory strategies and even on my off days when I wanted to quit when the pain was too much and not where I wanted to be she allowed me to express that and would remind me of the bigger picture and it takes time to recover. If you need motivation, empathy, genuine vested interest in your recovery I recommend giving her a call. She is accommodating with your schedule and she can do your treatments in her home or at your home. I had a stroke and lost use of my left side but luckily I regained use but my arm and hand are functioning today because of Ms. O’Dell.
