Dr. Best overtested and overdiagnosed me for cataracts and possible glaucoma. I went to an ophthalmologist who confirmed that I do not meet the criteria for cataract surgery and most certainly do not have glaucoma. I have also had insurance billing issues which I solved by calling my insurance company and Dr. Best's billing person, a total of 7 times to find out that Dr. Best had a credentialing issue with my health insurance company. She was also billing under medical, not under my plan's vision care category. I went to her to get my eyes examined for glasses and she began testing me for glaucoma to the point that my insurance company began denying claims as not medically necessary. Then her office began to bill me for the testing.She was also evasive as to what the tests were revealing when I asked her. I would not recommend her for these reasons, as I believe her practice is motivated more by money than appropriate eye care.
