Unwilling to help when we most needed her
I have always heard wonderful things about Dr. Gonzales from my father, who has been a patient of hers and spoke so highly of her. I was relieved to know he had such a great doctor. Unfortunately, after my father suffered a stroke and is now unable to talk or move, I requested FMLA paperwork to care for him. Dr. Gonzales, however, declined to complete the form, stating it being her last day in the office. The paperwork would have taken less than 10 minutes, and they have access to all of my father’s medical information from the hospital he’s at, they said it multiple times. It breaks my heart that she is unwilling to help at such a critical time, especially after all the love my father showed her and the office. I never expected this from a doctor he trusted so much. I hope no one else ever has to go through this.
