Over a period of several months I had bi-weekly sessions with her. I was seeking help for depression and personality issues. I told her everything I could think of, all the private details of my life in the expressed hopes that I would be given a diagnosis since I'm pretty certain I have some kind of personality disorder. Late into our sessions, she said she thought she was getting close to having an answer. Then, later informed me that she was leaving her practice at the time for personal reasons (which were valid and understandable) but that we could have a few more sessions. But I never got a diagnosis. I feel like I was strung along and had my time and willingness to open up completely wasted. This was a few years ago and it still eats at me. If you want someone to smile and listen to you she's great, but if you're looking for real answers, seek help elsewhere. Still depressed.
