Horrible visit. I stayed calm and collected through the 20 min video call, but was completely torn up inside by the time it ended. I was really hoping to talk to someone, looking forward to it all week. I suffer from severe panic attacks, and trauma. Her profile on MD Live stated that she worked with anxiety/depression so I scheduled with her to try out the app. She explained she didn’t have any expertise in that area, probed about my health insurance (that doesn’t matter since I paid through the app) and told me I had severe problems and that I should have a brain scan and be on medications. I felt insulted and so distraught by the end of the conversation. I do not recommend her if you need a kind shoulder, this wasn’t it.

My name is Claire Franke and I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) working statewide in California via telehealth. I work with adults and seniors, specializing in anxiety, depression, grief/loss, couples counseling, chronic illness, and clients or family members impacted by substance abuse issues.
