Our experience was amazing. Dr. Ames-Klein was key in getting my son assessed and issued the proper documentation to get accommodations in high school, college and now law school. She is not only professional, knowledgeable and kind, she truly understands how the world works in terms of identifying and communicating the impacts of learning differences in key situations. She cares about her patients and how they function in life. So thankful to have met her!

She tried too hard to make deals with my family when what she should have done is set a boundary and end therapy. She was dealing with very manipulative people and she tried to play their game instead of keep people honest and above board. When I scheduled a followup appt. I called en route to notify I'd be ten min late, and she responded sorry you won't be coming in. She did not want to face my critique, I guess.
