Dr. Claren Sheck-Boehler, PHD

She's the first, after more than a dozen that cares and treats me more than a paycheck for herself. She will change course when I struggle and come back trying again later. She helps me understand why I do/feel these ways and shows me how they are now hurting me and others and better ways to respond. It's so great to hear anyone who had gone through what I have would have reacted the same but that I'm not fated to stay there. 2 cancers were diagnosed several months into therapy and without my asking, she changed course to walk and support me thru very difficult chemo and once done, we resumed. I am so appreciative of her true caring and support. She's become a friend. My other friend was so impressed w/ Claren's support/caring/effectiveness, she called Claren to say "Thank you for giving me my friend back." And I'm 68 -- never too late!
