Dr. Claudia Mosier, PSY.D

Claudia is my therapist. She is warm and caring. She listens well and provides excellent feedback. She is not judgemental. I feel safe with her, a quality I need in a therapist. I feel heard and understood. I have deep respect for her as a woman and a therapist and would recommend her to anyone. It is a privilege to work with her. She is a blessing in my life.

I started seeing a psychiatrist in 2019 here in New Orleans and not long after the covid pandemic, she retired. The practice set me up with Dr. Mosier via teleheath appt. It's been almost three years now and I have no complaints; she has probably been one of the most compassionate people I've encountered in this field (I don't know how, because I used to work in a psych hospital and the two years I worked there is ultimately what led me to make a career change completely out of healthcare) and I only wish she were local so I could see her in person. My medication was on backorder and I texted her and she sent over a script for a similar Rx within a couple hours. Just a genuinely caring, gem of a person.

I was a patient of Dr. Mosier for two years. Then one day I walked into her office, and she announced to me that she had found a new position, and that this would be our last session. There was no warning, no closure, and she gave me a "referral" to two therapists, neither of whom were covered by my insurance, and one of which wasn't even taking new patients. She is a danger to anyone she treats.
