Colby Damon, WHNP

I love the clinic I go to (Buffalo IVF) but I only seem to have to see Colby when my usual providers are busy and I'm having an emergency. The last time I saw Colby I had concerns because I was bleeding and 5 weeks pregnant with already 1 miscarriage under my belt. Bleeding in pregnancy can be normal. I wasn't bleeding heavily or had any indications that would TRULY signify a loss yet until I got bloodwork back later that day. Going off of whatever hunches Colby thought she had, she kept talking to me as if I had lost the baby already. And she even realized she was doing it as she had to correct herself and add that we had to wait for bloodwork. It was an infuriating and hurtful experience. I may have to delay care now if she's the only option at the clinic which I'm fine with. While she was trying to "prepare" me I guess, it wasn't warranted at that time. I'm sure she's knowledgeable (because yes, when bloods came back, I was miscarrying) but her bedside manner needs serious work.
