Colby Powell, PA-C

I have been seeing Dr. Powell regarding chronic tension headaches due to my primary care physician’s office recommending this office. It has been mentioned during every visit that these headaches will happen when I couldn’t be happier, with no stress in my life whatsoever. It even happens when I’m on vacation. Both myself and my family don’t seem to think it’s a tension headache. So here I am thinking that somehow, the problem will eventually fix itself. I’ve been living with this for two years now. What bothers me though is that he has been insulting and rude every time, with each visit being worse than the previous one. This time I was so uncomfortable going back to him that I brought my mom with me this time to ask questions and see for herself what’s going on since I wasn’t getting anywhere on my own. He proceeded to talk down to her even worse than he does with me and we spent about a good half hour in there of him basically just lecturing me the whole time. The fact that I lasted

he shouldn't be in the medical field where he deals with people that need at that point need a little compassion . I went to him one time and I agree with all I read here

Arrogant. Poor bedside manner.

Terrible bed side manner and he talked down to me. Would NEVER recommend him to anyone. Very angry about my visit. I was nervous going to see a neurologist and he made it worse.

Went back to see him after seven years and was told by him he could not find my medical records and test results After speaking to the office manager she said yes they have all my charts but Colby never pulled them. He prescribed an new medication to take and when I said I wanted to consult with my primary care doctor first before taking it he insulted me and said why would you need to find out more about this drug? I will not be going back for a follow up.
