Dr. McKallagat is a fine and extremely capable Optometrist. I went to two other doctors for a new lens prescription and the results were awful. One gave me glasses that made me feel like I was seeing through water and the second gave me glasses that created a funhouse effect. The walls seemed to be closing in on me and everyone around me looked two feet shorter than normal. What a scary experience.
Dr. McKallagat spent considerable time testing my eyes and figuring out what would work to solve my eye problems. What a relief when she made me the perfect pair. I haven't had vision this perfect or comfortable in years. I cannot stress how grateful I am for her expertise. It is wonderful to know that I have an eye doctor I can trust and that I don't have to worry about my sight anymore. She is the BEST! ALSO her staff are friendly, helpful and very professional.

I am 61 years old and make an appointment with Dr M due primarily to convenience. I ended up being very pleased with my visit. As an older woman I have dry eye problems and once had a significant corneal abrasion as a result. Dr McKallagat offered solutions and insight that no other eye doctor has and was genuinely helpful. She explained multiple solutions and could not have been better. I've been to lots of eye doctors and none has ever been better. The technician was also terrific.
