If it had been up to this NP’s care, my family member would have been on hospice 3 1/2 months before she passed. This NP tried to push morphine when my family member absolutely showed no signs of suffering. We would have missed out on so much with her if we didn’t know to push back on that like we did. And to add, my family member never needed hospice care. She passed on her own, peacefully. Furthermore, the NP completed the death certificate with one cause of death being incorrect, and one misspelled, making that information incorrect. If you have a family member as a resident at James River Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center, please inquire that this NP is not looking after your loved one.
