Terrible bedside manner. Although the injured patient has been sober for over four years and declined to take home an opiate prescription (was only given opiates on the day of surgery and then happily dealt with just Tylenol) she felt inclined to shame patient by informing them that it is their own fault they ruined their life and not to even ask for extra pain medication. There was absolutely no drug seeking behavior. Just rude judgement. Complained to nurse who said we're not the only ones.
