Cynthia Allyn, LCSW

I have seen Cynthia Allyn many times when I've been going through difficult times over the last 20+ years. I have found her to be patient and empathetic and to listen without making me feel "judged." She has never told me, "This is what you must do..," but rather helps me to come up with possibilities for what I could try to change my circumstances or reactions to/interpretations of things. I have found her to be knowledgeable of current research affecting our mental, emotional and physical health (ie. how the mind and body are connected, how the various chemicals/additives in the foods we eat can affect our mood, etc.). Through the years I have recommended Cynthia to many of my friends and colleagues who have been interested in counseling.
