Dr. Cynthia Charnetski, OD

Charnetski’s office confirmed my appointment in December 2022. I was told it would be $40. I was adamant about only needing to purchase new contacts (my insurance only covers 1 appointment every 2 years) and was told this would be fine and I should just bring my contact lens box. I had to wait 3 months for the appointment. 1 week before, Charnetski’s office calls and says it will be $90 because they will be refracting and this is an additional cost. I was unhappy but figured I had waiting this long. I get there the day of appointment and check in and give in-take history. Before doctor comes in, another lady comes in and tells me the doctor is refusing to do a refraction unless I have a full exam for $160. I explained what I was told for 3 months and the lady went to confer with Charnetski. Charnetski refused and said the cost will be $160 to me out of pocket and I can take it or leave it. No offer of a discount from the $160, no apology, nothing.
