A naturally compassionate therapist
After moving to New York I was nervous about finding a new therapist - knowing it isn't always a great fit and you may have to see multiple persons to find a connection. However, I consider myself lucky to have found Dr. Goren, she creates a very calm, judgement free environment from day one and is very insightful with her responses. I'm glad to be a patient of hers!

Very helpful and understanding. Dr. Goren was smart and attentive; she remembered the tiniest details about me and my family and was quick to understand the relationships. She made me feel at ease. She is very calm and quiet, and also warm and understanding.

Fnding a therapist can be anxiety producing because when people decide they would benefit from seeing a therapist, they are often experiencing significant upset in their lives. This is usually not the ideal moment to be dealing with the stress involved in finding someone with whom it feels safe and right to be vulnerable. I felt I was judged and criticized by Dr Goren and the environment was very unpleasant as a patient. Not recommended.
