He is always able to talk my child back down when stressed. Offering useful hints to work through life problems. I do recommend him.

Before I even contracted Fachting for counseling sessions I called and informed his receptionist that I was a gay man and asked whether as psychologist he believed he had the right to try and "cure me" to which she assured me he did not. I should have also asked what his religious beliefs were. I entered into a counseling relationship with him back in mid 2013 for a time but chose to terminate it. The reason being was that in our sessions he insisted on introducing his Roman Catholic Christian beliefs into them on a regular basis. This confused me at the time but gradually I came to believe his motive was to try and convert me because he is more a evangelist/proselytizer than counselor. Before beginning our sessions he did not reveal to me that he was a Roman Catholic who would be introducing his beliefs into our sessions which I believe he was obliged to do. Had I known this I would have never begun counseling with him. I shall warn others away from his practice.
