I have been working with Daniel for just about six months now and he has been such an incredible resource. I’ve gone through a few crises and a major life change during our time together and he has helped me navigate each challenge in ways I’ve never been able to in the past. He’s helped me reassess and check in with a lot of my self-destructive habits in ways that are nonjudgmental, safe, and protect me from the shame I usually feel. He so obviously pays very close attention, takes good notes, and reviews his notes in depth before sessions. He never EVER makes me feel like “just another patient” - he knows me and my story, he knows what works with ME, he calls me out in ways that are healthy and beneficial to our mutual relationship. He notices things on video I’m pretty sure counselors I’ve worked with in person would never have picked up on. I truly value and appreciate his time and am so thankful for the growth he’s helped me achieve. He played an active part in saving my life.
