Great Therapist
Daniel Smith is a wonderful therapist. I send sent someone that I care dearly about to him. She told me that Daniel Smith is kind and compassionate. He listens and provides a positive outlook on things. If you are looking for a great therapist, I say talk to Daniel.

Not a good fit for compassion
Daniel laughed during our appointment. Therapists operate within certain parameters(as do all professionals). His methods were not conducive toward positive change in my case. I did leave crying (twice). He managed to question my medication, argue about determinism, and ended with the comment that his family was a sort of legacy therapy tradition. I still have emails which he states his job is to challenge me. Yet, we met twice. Perhaps he should have gotten to know me. Perhaps he was responding to my disposition?

×Post a ResponseAre you Daniel Smith?
I’ve waited over a year after leaving Danny to write my review. He wasted years of my life. Over four years ago I told him I feared I had gender dysphoria. He quickly told me “no.” I pushed my truth deep inside me and he and I continued to discuss it regularly as an addiction to cross dressing. His refusal to talk about past traumas and limited investment of time, concern or knowledge of my issue while making a statement that ruined years of my life is horrifying. Get a real therapist. Harmful.
