Poor evaluation and response to a problem
I was in the hospital with an infection and I am on a lot of medication‘s at home. I have MS and have two drugs that I take twice a day for pain and spasticity. If I do not get the night dose on time, I have problems with increased spasticity and insomnia, even at the best of times. The one medication can cause withdrawal symptoms if you abruptly stop it and can have more serious side effects like seizures. I was warned about this when I first started on the medication. PA Zimmerman refused to order the medication and chose to let me suffer through a sleepless night and risk the withdrawal symptoms. He was made aware of my concerns about withdrawal of the medication and said he wasn’t going to change anything. (When my nurse called him). I got no sleep and feel terrible this morning. This man has no compassion
