I wanted to share with Mesa to avoid Darsi Axford-Hollingshead. She is a toxic therapist. She met my daughter for less than an hour, never spoke with me, only spoke with her disgruntled father and diagnosed me as a narcissist. Both violated the divorce decree as the father did not have the right to do this and when I seeked this to be peacefully resolved she threatened to block me. She needs to be removed. TOXIC therapist.

Darsi Axford Hollingshead gave my daughter who is underage toxic advice. She told her father that she should be involved in the parent drama. That is awful. Awful advice. She also told my daughter I was a narcissist without ever talking or meeting me and on the very first visit with my daughter.

I would stay as far away as you could with Darsi. I went to Darsi looking for ways to cope with all my trauma and to learn ways to deal with it and not have the trauma not define me anymore. Right off the bat I knew something was up with her. She didn’t say hello how are you NOTHING besides here this is for you to take home and you need to fill these out. She left the room for about 15 mins. She came back in and asked me why I was seeing her. I start to tell her that it’s a lot of things that stems from my childhood. She was pretty much placing blame on me for my trauma. She kept checking her phone constantly and texting or emailing people. I felt as if what I was saying didn’t matter. At the end of the appt I was trying to ask her a question and she cut me off and said “(My Name) we done here you’re out of time and I have another client waiting for me “ I never expected to walk out of a counseling appointment feeling worse and more worthless than I already did coming into the appt.

I was disappointed when I called to schedule an appointment and left a voice mail to not receive a response. I ended up going with someone else.

I used Darsi Axford to support me through challenges with an extremely stressful job which was causing anxiety and depression for me, for my transition into retirement, and for other challenges that came up for me. I had tried several other providers over time, but she was by far the most helpful.
