Sessions felt too short, and Dr. Brillhart's approach would oftentimes leave me feeling very actived/upset/nauseated well after the sessions would end. When I expressed this, I was informed that my body was just purging emotional poisoning and that it was the only method to really heal from trauma and narcissistic abuse. After a particularly distressing session, I decided to stop working with Dr. Brillhart, acknowledging that I just didn't think this approach was the best fit for me. He never responded to my email and all reminders for upcoming appointments ceased. I felt like he just ghosted me.
