David Katkin, MED

I was a patient of Dr. David Katkin on August 6, 2014. More than five years later, on Nov. 27, 2019, I requested information from Dr. Katkin on that visit, and a referral to another doctor. My situation was unusual, however, and handling the details involved twelve interactions with him over nine days (by cell-phone and email, one on Sunday morning!). I was able to see his four-page evaluation from that 2014 visit and was newly amazed by the thoroughness of his evaluation and recordkeeping. Because he was so helpful, I feel it would be negligent to not comment on Dr. Katkin's remarkable advocacy and level of caring for a now former-patient. Dr. Katkin had no 'business' reason to be so concerned about my situation; his interest was exclusively a humanitarian one. David is very sharp and really helps put things in perspective. I tend to talk a lot and he seems to have the perfect balance of knowing when to just let me talk things out and when to provide advice. I am not so good at that and tend to interrupt people. Last and not least, he generally talks pretty fast with me which helps me get the most out of my visit. That is a huge plus for me.
