Dr David Kosins Didn’t Help
Rather than help, David Kosins judgmental approach to therapy threw me into a deep depression. It was only through months with a more compassionate provider did I learn to realize Dr. Kosins had set me much further backwards. Tough love is one thing. This was just tough and pointless and quite frankly based in highly outdated understandings of panic disorder. Unless you really want to read cookie cutter workbooks and 30 year old approaches in often unwelcoming group settings I’d highly suggest you seek much better care elsewhere. He probably means well but won’t make you well. Avoid.
