Good listener. She picks up on things quickly and is able to stay with me and understand convoluted relationships and their dynamics. She is gentle and kind yet firm when she needs to be. I am a Master at deflecting self care and doing what I’ve always done which is to “push through” and take care of everyone else. That is no longer working. I am empty and emotionally exhausted. She has shown me that I’m right where I need to be to learn and to finally let myself grieve over many things that I have endured or have had happen to me. It’s time to figure out how to truly take care of me.
