Misdiagnosed
Several years ago, my mother, a patient of hers, had been misdiagnosed with Crohn's disease by this woman and caused 3 years of pain, depression, hopelessness, torment, and PTSD with distrust in doctors. My mother was then prescribed a steroid and Humera, increasing the risk of cancer, after several colonoscopies and endoscopies. After one visit from a gastroenterologist my mother was properly diagnosed with IBS and not Crohn's disease. The appointment consisted of a simple review of her chart, medical history, and a physical examination of pressing on her abdominal area, to then find out she does not have Crohn's, and she was then given instructions of how to gradually decrease the steroid intake because if she had quit cold turkey she would have experienced withdrawal with the steroids prescribed by Plasman. Lastly if you visit Plasman and she has her computer in hand, you could google your own symptoms, like Plasman had done, and obtain a more accurate diagnosis unlike Plasman had.

This wonderful woman kept my spirits up through all the years of having to deal with many debilitating conditions. They piled up one on top of the other. With her being my GI doc she kept well informed on all of my conditions. She also talked with my other doctors if she thought it would help. A wonderful amazing soul and so very well informed on all of medicine. Wish I could go see her still but my insurance won't let me. If you go to see her make certain that the appt is with her!

One of my "best" first visits every. She had more answers than I had questions (thanks to Google, I had a lot). And her support staff is fantastic ("shout-out" to Cally).

I really like Dr.Plazman she is easy to talk too,and she is all about helping you understand your health problems and what she can do to to get you well. Her nurse is awsome and they both make you feel that you matter.
