I had Dr Kilgore years ago, and his values and concerns are above reproach. His belief in his patients deserving 1. Confidentiality, 2. That his patients are unique 3. Patients deserve access to resources 4. And most of all "Self Determination" Do him great credit. As a counselor you couldn't do any better.

I have been seeing Dr. Kilgore on and off for about 13 years with long stretches in between. The long talks about mundane matters irritated me but then I realized he was trying to get to know my background and know more about me. He has always helped me through my issues. I think he is terrific.

I didn't find our sessions productive at all. Dr. Kilgore has a tendency to ramble on and not give you much opportunity to speak. He'll waste a whole hour talking about mundane matters from his life that have nothing to do with you. Worse, he knew we weren't making progress and that he wasn't helping me. But instead of telling me this and referring me to a psychologist who could, he continued to take my money and waste my time week after week. I strongly recommend you avoid this therapist.
