I am a VA psychologist who read his CP report
a veteran told him that he witnessed dead bodies of friends and had to move dead bodies and this idiot said that this stressor does not meet criterion A of PTSD. really? can you read the DSM? Witnessing others getting hurt and being dead meets criterion A. Because of this idiot the veteran has gone undiagnosed for 10 years after being a military medic and witnessing death. Stay away from this guy.

I have mental health issues and suicidal ideations, mr perez, NOT DOCTOR, said i have neither. I had suicide attempts while deployed and he said i was not in any stressful environments. This man should be removed from medical practice not rating veterans for issues. He rushed my appointment and put nothing of substance that i stated in the notes.

He will not read your medical history records . He will not listen to what you say. I have been struggling with PTSD-combat for 12 years now . Went to a re examination . VA claimed it was PTSD . in the 30 min session he then tries to diagnose me . Doesnt ask all the question on the DBQ . Doesnt understand that Veterans are their to get evaluated on their current diagnosis. He is the reason a lot of Veterans dont want to go see VA doctors . I felt very uncomfortable in his office . He also lied about me not serving in combat.
