Does anyone know where Derek is practicing now after leaving APEX? The other PAs at Apex aren't bad, but they're not exceptionally good like Derek and I prefer to go where he's practicing now. Thanks!

Very attentive. Truly listens and tries to understand exactly what the patient needs. Very open minded and easy to talk to. I felt safe talking to him about all topics of my health. I know he’s there for me. I felt like he truly cares and I wasn’t just another patient.

I was moved under Derek Miller's care when my previous doctor switched practices. Initially I was upset by the sudden change, but Derek quickly changed all of that! Derek takes a very holistic approach to care, and he truly takes the time to talk about your health concerns. For the first time in years, I feel like I have someone that really cares about me and my health. Derek is also on the cutting edge of HIV care & meds, and I trust him completely!

I was handed over to Derek Miller's care this morning and was not especially pleased that I was assigned another doctor at APEX. But Mr. Miller took the time to get to know me, went over my history and listened to me. How many care providers do that in this day and age? Not many. He also offered guidance on what I needed by way of preventive care. I had planned on leaving APEX and going elsewhere but I will stay with them now as long as Derek is working there. Totally impressed.
